The pizza here is always really good! I ordered a pizza online for takeout for a group of friends. I love the Dominic's flavor. They do a big takeout business since there were tons of pizzas on the shelves ready for takeout orders. I also catered a Caesar salad which was really good! The parking lot is ticketed, but I was in and out quick enough that I wasn't charged for parking. I didn't ask if they validate. I had some difficulty getting a hold of the restaurant. No one answered when I called. Also when I ordered online, the success message said someone would call me to confirm my order. No one ever did. I was worried my order wouldn't be there when I arrived but it was! Now that I know the online ordering process, I would definitely order again. Just wish someone would answer the phone to confirm my order.

I would highly recommend this place! The food and service was amazing, and the environment was friendly. The menu is very broad, and reasonably priced as well!

We stayed at the Marriott and I walked over to pick up a pizza. It was a crowded and the line to order was very long. Loved the Brooklyner! It's a pepperoni pizza elevated with delicious ricotta.

This was THEE spot while I went to school around the area, and this place is still one of my favorite places for pizza, drinks, and more. I highly recommend the spicy soppressata New York-style pizza and the mozzarella sticks. Their deep-dish pizza is solid, but I prefer the New York style that highlights the cheese and toppings versus the bread. Service is quick. I don't have too much to say about service, but they get the job done! This spot tends to be busy and filled with people. Finding a seat can be troublesome but don't expect to wait too long. This place is sorta of a hybrid dine-in/fast-casual spot - you get a number and they deliver the food to you. Their take out always hits. They have a HUGE draft beer menu in classic San Diego fashion. The parking can be tight and competitive to get a spot, but overall, it's fine. Make sure to validate your parking ticket for free parking. This place is nostalgic for me, so I might be biased a bit... but that being said, I'm giving this place a 4.5/5 rounded up to a 5.

regents pizza is the best deep dish in san diego! if you're craving a hearty, comforting, and filling meal, this is the place to go. i usually get the masters or meat lovers chicago pizza - these are both really quality deep dishes that are wonderfully seasoned and perfectly baked. an amazing balance of sauce, filling, and crust. in my opinion, their specialty is the deep dish. i've tried the wings and they were mediocre. service is very friendly, and the restaurant itself is a nice place to hang out. there are some indoor tables and also some outdoor tables in their covered/heated patio. be aware that if you order a whole pizza, it may take awhile for it to be ready. also, there is paid parking in a small plaza, but they can validate your parking ticket. overall, if you're a deep dish pizza fan, definitely give regents a try!

Great pizza for a game night! Large beer & pizza selection (both deep dish & NY style)! TVs both indoor and outdoor with lots of seating! They played the Celtics vs Pacers NBA Eastern Conference Finals game 1 that went to overtime...it was a GREAT TIME! Milano (3/5): Great idea, but prosciutto was too salty and needed ranch to cover it up. One of the best pizza doughs I've ever had though - a perfect fluffy chew. Italian seasoning and red peppers are a great add! Caesar Salad (4/5): Can't go wrong with a Caesar Salad. The smallest size is perfect for 2-3 ppl to share on the side (or one person to eat as an entree). Love the croutons! Wish they gave more sauce though. I remember loving their deep dish pizza and wanted to give their NY style a try. The Milano isn't for me, but I will definitely come back to try other flavors!

This place is amazing. Some of the best pizza we've had in quite a while. It is fast casual, order at the counter. Quite a selection of beer as well. Service is good. - White pizza (4/5): Love the variety of cheeses, especially the ricotta. The pizza crust even was delicious, tasted fresh. - Brooklyner (5/5): Super crispy pepperoni, and again the ricotta made this 5/5. So delicious!

Always super crowded during dinner time no matter if it's a weekday. But nice vibe to the place. I've had the the Windy City Mozzarella Classic Chicago Deep Dish Pizza (Lots of aged mozzarella blend cheese, topped with homemade marinara) and the Brooklyner Thin Crust Pizza (Aged mozzarella blend, dollops of marinara, Greco sausage, cupping pepperoni, whipped sweet ricotta, dusted with parmesan and pecorino Romano cheese). Can't go wrong with the deep dish or thin crust but personally I enjoy the deep dish better.

One thing that Regents has well is consistency. I came back this month to try their monthly flavors Eggplant Parm and a La Playa. A La Playa was just ok for me, a bit too salty. The eggplant parm was pretty good, tasted like a lasagna almost. As usual they were packed on a Friday night. But service is always fast even if you have to wait for a table to open up. I also still love the community feel the place has, of academics and grad students. But I still wish the place had better price signage. Since I live in the area I will definitely be back to try more rotational flavors.
